As avid users of ethical products, we saw a pattern—products rooted in back-to-basics which are hard to use. We started in 2019 to make new products that don't compromise on "good for the planet" and easy to use.

Our detergent strips are packed in simple cardboard, great for travel, camping, or your next trek to the laundromat. Simply drop a strip in water and add your clothing. Leave it to soak or wash it right away. Quite simply the easiest cloth handwash ever, and the perfect travel detergent for hand laundering.

Our strips undergo no animal testing and are cruelty-free. That, in addition to being vegan, fragrance-free, plastic-free, and dye-free.

We've analyzed our complete supply chain, including manufacturing, freight shipping, and shipping direct to your door. We then buffered that value by 30% and doubled it for every pack of Lazy Coconuts detergent strips.

Our Compact by Design products focus on sustainability. Small changes in product size and weight lead to lower carbon emissions. We identify products that, while they may not always look very different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.

Our sulfate and fragrance-free formulation is perfect for machine or hand wash, gentle for sensitive skin. We offset double the emissions generated per pack. Our strips are cruelty-free, vegan, biodegradable, and just all-around nice. Each pack is 20 times lighter than comparable liquid detergents, further helping to reduce transportation fuel and our overall carbon footprint with each load.
